Price Match

Today I researched the internet all day and now am saving $400.00 on medications for next IUI with injectables cycle. MDR (the pharmacy that carries the fertility drugs) told me they price match.... if you know me you know I will research the heck out of the internet to find the best price and I did.... it took all day but I found a great deal, so excited! It's like couponing. And in the process I met a really nice lady who just got pregnant with twins with Dr. Anderson's help from doing an IUI with injectables with Follistim,  HCG trigger shot and progesterone capsules. She reassured my concern with the amount of money we are spending to see Dr. Anderson that we have made the best choice because he is the best infertility doctor in OC.

  1. I can't wait to hear the outcome! I'm sorry for commenting so much but I find this very encouraging. I have an HSG coming next month (hoping that they have an opening unlike this month) and after that we plan to do an injectible IUI. I just went straight to the injectibles because, Clomid kind of scares me. Injectibles sound more powerful.

All in all, I know that God is in control of this whole process. It's just hard to wait sometimes but I also find comfort in the stories of the Bible including Abraham and Sarah. I remember thinking before I got married, only thinking about how old I'm getting (I'm only 37 currently) and wanting to have children, that if God could make Abraham and Sarah get pregnant , then nothing is impossible for Him in our situation!

  2. April, I am going through the process now and I just spoke with MDR this past week after my insurance would not authorize me through another company. It's still kind of steep but I hope my husband and I can move forward with this. The lady I spoke with, says they have had a lot of success with Follitism. Anyways, I hope all is well!

    1. Hi Sue and Mrs. M. Thank you so much for reading our story, this is the exact reason I started this blog and share what we are going through publicly, I hope to help someone and let them know they are NOT alone because this entire process can feel so lonely. Please keep me posted on your progress and I will keep you and your husband in my prayers. Merry Christmas!
